With views out onto the hills, a spacious garden and a log burner you will be set for all seasons!

Property Details

This rural retreat provides everything you would want for a get away with your friends and family. The house itself is a large, detached building set on the outskirts of Buxton with views over the fields and often visited by varied wildlife including pheasants, birds and sheep from over the fence!

Living Areas:

There are two living spaces. A large and comfortable lounge with a wood burning stove, a sumptuous corner sofa to take in the views, a puzzle table and a Smart TV with access to Netflix, Amazon Prime, iPlayer and more.

Then there is the snug, a place for quiet reading or sitting with a cup of tea enjoying the serenity of the space. (This room can also be used as an extra bedroom if needed).

Kitchen/Dining Areas:

The kitchen is equipped with all the essentials needed to cook an array of meals whilst away in the countryside as well as a beautiful farmhouse table to eat them at. There is a double oven, a fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, washing machine and dishwasher.

Bathrooms/Toilets:

There is one bathroom and two en-suites upstairs and one toilet located on the ground floor. The bathroom benefits from a bath and a separate shower whilst the en-suites have showers (one is electric).

The Garden:

The garden has plenty of space to relax and play. There is a deck, a large open grass area and there is also a pond. NB/ if you have small children please take note – there is a pond.

Guest Access:

We operate on self-check-in/out so you can come and go as you please.

*This property is not suitable for parties & events unless agreed upon before booking!

*This is a breach of house rules & will result in immediate removal from the property via security and no refund, your deposit may be used towards extra costs in removing you.

*We have a strict NO-SMOKING indoors policy at our properties. A standard charge of £1000 will be charged to your card when we find evidence of smoking within the accommodation to cover cleaning costs and long-lasting damage on the property.

*Any loud music, parties, and smoking indoors will also result in immediate removal from the accommodation as we will be highlighted via our noise and air monitoring systems located in the property.

*For stays longer than a week, additional housekeeping is arranged for a further fee.

*Please Note: The hot tub is an additional cost, please enquire for details of availability and pricing.

We require completion of our online booking-in form which includes an agreement to our T&Cs, provision of a UK government-issued photo ID or passport, and a card pre-authorisation of £250 for potential damage, loss, or lack of adherence to our T&Cs. We will not charge an amount from the £250 unless upon checkout there is evidence of damage, loss, or lack of adherence to our T&Cs.

Pre-order firewood for £15 per bag — each pack includes logs, fire starters, kindling, and matches.
Need more during your stay? We can usually arrange a top-up delivery for a £5 surcharge, or you can purchase logs from nearby suppliers

* EXTRA NIGHT – If you require an extra night or wish to extend your booking, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can make sure the dates are available and book you in.

*LATE CHECK-OUT / CHECK-IN – in order for us to be able to facilitate a late check out or check in, we need to know in advance. Please drop us a message to check if this is available. See details below:

* HOT TUB – the hot tub is set up for the duration of your stay. There is a £36 set-up fee and the hot tub is charged at £50 per night.

You can also have a gazebo and fairy lights setup with the hot tub for an additional £30.

NB/ We usually require at least 7 days notice to ensure hot tub availability.

The cottage benefits from FREE parking in the car park, details of this are shared in the check-in instructions.

Pets are allowed to stay for a standard fee of £25 per pet. A maximum of 2 pets can stay at once. Please note animals are not allowed upstairs or on the furniture.

To ensure we maintain the property’s high standards and maximise guest experience, we require weekly cleaning and linen changeovers for long-term bookings (10+ nights stay) at an additional cost.
